The Great Commission
Jesus' final words to the apostles were instructions to spread the gospel throughout the world and build the church, baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
These final instructions are the purpose behind our mission work. Every generation of Christians must obey these commands, because men and women of the world can only believe if they hear the gospel preached (Rom 10:14-15). |
